Kaua‘i’s public bus (The Kauai Bus / services mapped through stops on Rice Street and Līhue) offers limited, affordable routes but with lower frequency. Bicycle use is possible for short local trips; walking is practical for nearby restaurants and shops but not for longer sightseeing.
